My husband and I stayed at Merulana Inn from October 9 to October 12. We truly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the room and entire facility was exceptional. The location was great as it was in a walkable distance from every major attraction and very close to main train station and other public transportation. I highly recommend the place and if I ever travel to Rome again I'll try my best to stay there. Elvisa G.

It was just wonderful after the hustle and bustle of Rome to come back to the quiet room where the staff were so ready to help make your stay more comfortable, assist with directions and recommendations. We were also provided with food if we left for our tour before breakfast was being served. We loved our stay.

This Guesthouse/Hotel is fantastic, I booked based on the reviews, and they were not wrong! Karen is fantastic, as are all of the team - we had breakfast included, continental breakfast each day, toast/cheese/ham/eggs lots of cereal and yoghurts, great cappuccino - overall a really fantastic stay, and I’d highly recommend - it’s only a 10 min walk to Colleseum too

Our stay here was amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean and the location of this place was very convenient. We were able to get around by walking or taking the subway which was a few minutes away.

Loved my stay! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Felt very safe and comfortable. The room was clean and I nice area that is still close to the train station. Overall had a great experience there! If I am ever back in rome I will be staying with them.

We had an excellent stay at Merulana Inn Guest House. We booked two connecting rooms, which were clean, comfortable, and had a nice small balcony overlooking the main street. The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and public transportation nearby, making it easy to explore Rome. A special thanks to Karen for her excellent communication before our arrival and for helping arrange our connecting rooms. We also really appreciated the early check-in. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with transportation tips, restaurant recommendations, and any questions we had. Breakfast was simple but good and included with our stay. We highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again!

We stayed here for one night and it was OK. Good crash pad close to the train station. We felt safe, but the amenities poor in the bathroom is very small. The hotel is located inside a building on the fifth floor. There is an elevator. The bed is incredibly firm and the AC is hit or miss. We actually froze because the AC got stuck on the coldest setting. I will say the blackout shades were a lifesaver, but the area is very loud.

The place and the location are great for a quick weekend getaway, but it was Karen (who works at Merulana) that made our stay. Super attentive and kind, and really made us feel at home. Would recommend Merulana to anyone.

A really enjoyable stay. The location strikes the perfect balance - close enough to Termini for easy access, but situated in a calm, characterful neighbourhood rather than the chaos around the station. Rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. What stood out most, though, was the staff - genuinely warm and attentive. Karen and Elena in particular made every interaction a pleasure. Would happily return.

Rooms are very clean, staff is super helpful and very sweet! They even gave us some tips on where to eat and what to see. To me the most important thing is the cleanliness of the facility and the rooms and thats why I gave 5 stars. Location is convenient as well! One thing to improve would be to replace the shower curtains more frequently, everything else was perfetto!
