Felt like the hotel needed a 'maintenance check'. Only minor things. eg toilet seat loose, shower leaked at the base of the shower screen. Wifi was very weak and we were unable to get the TV to work. But overall it was a good stay. Comfy bed, good size room for Rome, daily house keeping and welcoming staff available 24hrs. Numerous cafes and restaurants are close by for meals and the area felt safe. The hotel is not far from Termini and a tube station. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We got to the hotel about 2 hours early and extremely tired after driving all morning and they let us check-in early with no issues. It’s clean, quiet, and only about a mile walk from the Coliseum. The only issue we had was the WiFi. It was too slow. Normally I wouldn’t care, but our cell phone service was already bad in that area so I was relying on the WiFi to work. They first took me to a very dark, outdated room that looked nothing like what I had reserved. I showed them the photos from my booking, and they told me that the room I expected was on the other side of the hotel, which apparently has no elevator. But the side they gave me also had no elevator, so I asked to be moved. The second room was slightly better, but still far from satisfactory. The only positive was the location, about a 10-minute walk to the metro, which made getting around easier.
