« There were cockroaches in our room! The staff didn't seem surprised and the manager advised me he would comp me $50 for my room but only credited me for $30. We saw them early in the morning around 6am on our last day and had to pack our stuff and leave immediately without showering or sleeping in before checkout. I won't stay at another one of these hotels again nor book through Expedia.com as when we tried to cancel one of the rooms originally, expedia wanted to charge us the same amount for...

Owner is super helpful and kind. Minor hiccup at check-in due to booking through Expedia - Expedia doesn't share any info with the owner of the property and the email for my self check-in wasn't sent. I called the owner and he called right back after a few minutes and was able to give me all the instructions I needed. He even gave me some hiking recommendations.

« If I could give this B&B 10 stars, I would. Richard has thought of everything. We got there past the normal check in time a bit stressed by very long waits due to road work. Richard greeted us with a glass of wine, gave us a tour of the mansion and phoned a nearby restaurant to ensure that they would still serve us dinner. Our room was lovely and there was Irish cream and chocolates waiting for us before bed. The breakfast in the morning was incredible. We were sorry we could only stay one...
