« the entire family loved being so close to the beach...we could not have asked for more.We had lots of teenagers and several pre teens...and never ran out of hot water!finding the light switch for the kitchen was a challenge, but once our 2 year old grandkid found it on the end of the island we were treated to on/off for the next several minutes. The kitchen was fairly well supplied...enough bowls and utensils for all. The gas grill worked great on the back porch. Only drawback was the ocean was...

« Very nice stay at this location. We stayed 2 nights and 3 days and enjoyed it. Very clean and exactly the same as the pictures posted. Love how close it’s to downtown and in the middle of the other towns like Cannon Beach and Tillamook. Read about the noise complaints from the Main Street but we didn’t hear anything. Very cozy and homey. Only thing is that the bed is very squeaky, didn’t bother us but just a fyi. Would definitely book another mini vacation here again. Oh and did I say how...

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in unit #1! The covered deck with ocean view & easy beach access was just what we were looking for. The unit was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, very cozy & fun decor. The check in / check out process was easy & our host was quick to communicate with us for a few questions we had. We definitely recommend unit#1 at The Blue Octopus and will be back! »

« I loved this little cottage! It was comfy and cozy. They had everything--soap, towels, dish soaps, sponges, cookware, dinnerware. They even had kids plates and cups which was SO thoughtful because i had 2 small children with me. A nice, big tv with streaming and a cozy bed. As well as a pull out couch bed. The full kitchen was so nice, i had to prepare meals for my celiac toddler and it was so nice. The shower is a bit small if you are a bigger person like my husband. But it worked fjne for me....

« Property is just as described/depicted. This is a cozy bungalow on the beach with amazing beach views to the front and mountains to the back. It is fully furnished and has a well stocked kitchen. There are ample bath towels that are thick and extra long. The enclosed front room gives sweeping views of the shore even during colder times. Large front porch with 4 chairs and a table for porch coffee and evening meals outside. Overall excellent experience! Please note, this is a basic needs property...
