"This motel was sufficiently clean, the beds were comfy enough, the bathroom was basic, and I would come back again and again and again for that beach access and view! My family didn't care that the countertops weren't granite or that the mirror on the wall was crooked because we were either looking at the beach or on the beach. This is a place I would bring my family regularly. Rockaway Beach was a great little town with just enough to do/enough places to get food and eat, but not as crowded as places father north like Cannon Beach or even Manzanitas. If you come, buy a bundle of firewood and bring a kite for a nighttime fire on the beach and a good kite flying session."

"We’re not ones to normally complain, but there were a few things that affected our review. The cleaners were not done at check in at 4. We arrived to trash bags and the floors dirty and no one at the location. The cleaner showed back up at 4:02 and said all she needed to do was vacuum unless “we were ok with how it was”. Obviously we were not. We waited outside until 4:20 when she came out and said she was done. Upon going back inside it was clear the floors were still dirty. Upstairs not vacuumed. Full dishwasher. The beds were made but the sheets didn’t seem clean and like there was sand in them. Toilets were dirty. Make sure you bring toiletries because there was not shampoo etc as advertised. The trash can outside was packed full and emitting a strong fish odor by the hot tub. We made the best of it and cleaned up what we could. Other than the space not being quite ready, it was quite comfortable for our stay. Great for the beach, and coming back for a fire after a day in tillamook."

"It’s a pretty straightforward place to stay. Small, but does the job. Very close to the beach. Love that it’s pet friendly. One major downer, though, is that there is no hot tub on site. We would absolutely stay again if there was a hot tub. You can tell there used to be one - not sure why there’s not anymore. I know the listing doesn’t state that there is one, however, this was our first time to the Oregon coast and after arriving and experiencing the weather, we wished we would have booked a place with a hot tub. Otherwise was a good stay and would recommend for a couple that’s on a budget."
