"Everything about Snowbird Mountain Lodge was fabulous. The facilities took perfect advantage of the setting. All of the staff were helpful- both about our stay and things to do in the vicinity. Meal options really did their job. The property is pristinely maintained."

"If you aren't happy with anything but new and modern with all the amenities, you will not be happy here. It is old and it is dated, but it was clean and it was quiet. There were a few quirks, the stopper in the bathroom sink was stuck to closed and the lever to raise it didn't work. Rather than bug the office about it, I got in the floor and reached under the sink and fixed it myself manually. The pipes occasionally moaned or whined when taking a shower. These are things that would turn some people off, I figure for the price I paid compared to other hotels in the area..I got my moneys worth. The rocking chairs on the back porch facing a peaceful little river were an added bonus. We were in the area specifically to spend time kayaking on the Nantahala and Tuckaseegee Rivers and the location, halfway between Cherokee and Bryson City was absolutely perfect. Felt like I was staying in somebody's old house, but I enjoyed it."

"I would stay there again and longer if I had know it was such a great place, it's only a 20 minute drive to cades cove main gate. If you like to walk or run, the townsend main walking and bike trail is in the front yard, its close enough to the gas stations and eatery in townsend that its only a two minute drive to the main ones. Beds would be my only grip, they had spring mattresses and not foam, but still slept great on them."

"stayed here one night and 3 other motel/hotels this week, this was by far the cleanest and nicest room we had. Even better than some of the well-known brands we stayed in this week. Would differently go back and spend more time here,"

"This vacation home is wonderful! There is so much to do on site that we never left for the entire week. They have thought of everything to make a large family vacation memory perfect. We reserved the boat, which was an added bonus, but not really needed since there are so many outdoor things offered on site. Workouts, sauna, and hot tub were divine. It was the most beautiful view while sweating during a workout that i have ever endured. Hope to be back real soon!"
