"Checked in late, left early next morning. Large room just okay, nothing special. No real bad smell or issues with room. Appreciated the use of the fridge for drinks. Didn't use wifi, good temperature, staff did their job. Would stay again if in the area."

"I arrived after dark and the hotel and the village were like a magical New England winter scene with sparkling lights everywhere. The proximity of the hotel to a typical New England church and numerous white painted wooden framed structures was a scene from our historical heritage. The hotel was reopened less than a year ago after extensive renovations. The outcome is a GEM. Decorations deserve an A+."

"Room was clean and staff was friendly. It snowed overnight and staff had brushed the snow off our car for us which was nice. There is quite a bit of street noise due to the old windows not being well insulated so bring some ear plugs if you want quiet. "

The room was so cool... lots of details put into the decor, comfortable bed, great shower pressure, full kitchen, quiet, nice wooded view from the bedroom window. I would absolutely stay here again."

"There are two sections to the property. We asked to switch rooms because it smelled moldy on the one side. The other was in much better conditions, no smell, rooms very large, and clean. The pool is run by another company and they are strict about pool hours. "
