The hotel was very clean and the bed quite comfy. The only downside was insufficient parking. We had to use the adjacent lot but then had to leave there by 9:00 am. We ended up having to buy time to park which wasn’t a lot of money but was a bit of an irritant. Would def stay there again!

The room was clean, bed comfy. Offput by the “urgent” emails asking me to check in before 10 pm, as that’s when the staff leave for the night. Called to confirm we would be there in time after the first email, got two more in the next two hours. Staff was very nice, hotel is dark, rooms more like dorm rooms. Location was good, restaurants nearby. Overall, while we wouldn’t stay again, I’m sure there are those who like the vibe.

The red carpet was stained in the room, the bathroom ceiling was peeling with brown dots along the ceiling, dark, dull hallways. The down town did not have much to offer, Staff where very friendly and helpful.

In an old Theater building. Definitely has character and cool features. We arrived too late for the movies, but still fun. In central Brattleboro which has some interesting shops, but is suffering from homelessnes and mental illness/drug use. Didnt really feel unsafe and we walked a few blocks to a fun restaurant with good food & karioke. Person at desk was lovely and helpful. Room was ok- a little dated and could be cleaner.

It was a clean room with very old details and components. Some very interesting; maybe the carpet and some of them does not look pretty well. For sure the carpet must be change. Staff is very helpful and I believe that hotel can has old structure and materials, etc. but some of them requires some renovation to look better. I know that it is a town hotel, but to stay for a long period of time it can be improve its customer offer. Thanks for its service!

This historic hotel is in a great location for exploring downtown Brattleboro. The staff are extrememly nice and very helpful. The room we stayed in Gotham Suite was spacious and clean, but the beds felt lumpy and saggy. There are broken and cracked window panes through out our suite even though there are interior windows that are in good shape. On the whole it is a great if quirky hotel that just needs some updating and repairs.

Charming and clean with helpful people who checked in before we got there to get to make sure we knew how things worked with checking in and keys and such. It’s dated, but it appears as if they’ve renovated and cleaned things up to look and feel beautiful as well and be functional.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Latchis hotel. We weren't sure what to expect but we loved it. It's charming and unique. The manager who checked us in was delightful and friendly Our room was great. There was actually a record player and albums in the room which we found so charming and fun. Its a perfect location. I would stay there again in a heartbeat

Great location downtown near good restaurants. The hotel is old and full of character and history. Microwave, good shower, many cable TV channels, refrigerator, elevator- all in good order. With a cinema and restaurant in the lobby. We watched a movie (The Sheep Detectives).

This was my second stay at The Latchis, and once again it was a great experience. The hotel is clean, the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, and the location is incredibly convenient—especially for those of us coming up from New York on Amtrak. One of my favorite things about staying here is the building itself. The Latchis has so much character and history, and it's a refreshing change from a typical chain hotel. It adds something special to the whole experience. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Brattleboro!

Love ithis hotel's industrial urban feel and proximity to shops and restaurants. Parking is close and included. The sheets and pillows are heaven. No kidding. I am not a Keurig coffee fan for a number of reasons: single use plastic and flavor among them and that is their lobby offering. But the staff are authentic, friendly, and just awesome. Interior room quietest option. This was a return stay.

This was a nice stay. We had a very basic room. It was slightly outdated but that's not a bad thing. There's no outlet near the bed for your phone or anything. The bed was super comfortable. Our record player didn't work but it was a fun novelty. Sages, the bar attached to the hotel was really cool. Decorated awesome, great playlist, super comfy to have a drink in with very friendly staff. We didn't get to see a movie but we loved how the hotel lobby always smelled like popcorn and it was really beautifully decorated. We were concerned about parking but there was plenty of parking in the hotel's complimentary lot. The price was incredibly affordable and right in the middle of all the great shops and restaurants. Nothing was more than a 7 minute walk. Highly recommend!
