The staff was attentive and the hotel itself is a comfortable stay! I stayed 4 nights and felt safe the entire time. The hotel food is good as well! They also offer transportation to the closest beach.

Beautiful location. The staff and food was amazing.

The setting is gorgeous. Up top there is a large beautiful area to lounge. The pool up top is beautiful and relaxing and there are comfortable chairs along the edge/cliff for gorgeous views and a great place to sip a drink or coffee. There was a little putting green which they call mini golf. There is a short, but steep, walk down to the beach and second pool area along with the other restaurant. The pool is very kid friendly, but very shallow, so the water is pretty warm. There are some things for kids down there too: trampoline, swing, soccer field. All the staff was extremely kind and helpful, from front desk to restaurant/bar staff, etc. We had to change rooms a couple of times (see below), but the rooms were pleasant, bright and with a very nice sea view. The place is a little run down (we had to change rooms a couple of times because the AC didn't work) and many of the lounge cushions were dirty and moldy. Actually, the lounge cushions weren't placed on the lounge chairs, you had to find them and pull them out yourselves. The food was okay. Buffet, so there was good variety, but some meals were better than others. There was also a fresh station for tacos, eggs, etc. They try to have international menus, which were not as good as the traditional Mexican food. The freshly made items on the snack menu (fish tacos) were great. It was a very pleasant stay, and I would recommend it, especially for families.

Just finished a stay Casa Joseph. One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. We had a one bedroom suite. The room was terrific with lots of space and a nice bathroom. The A/C worked great. The grounds of the hotel were well taken care of and I can’t thank the staff enough for the wonderful hospitality. They were attentive and took care of any issues immediately. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in Puerto Escondido.

A beautiful boutique hotel, we particularly enjoyed the cafe attached to the hotel, great spot for brunch and hot or cold drinks
