One block to the left there is a homeless camp The area is not safe While there: (1) the sink was continously leaking water we had to ask for them to fix it (2) the door did not lock we had to call for them to fix it (3) the safe didn't close twice we had to call twice for them to fix it (4) after the sink leaks so much water we put down towels and then were charged for the towels They try But no they miss the mark and it could be looked over if the area was safe but no

During check-in I wasn't informed about extra costs of drinks and still water. Policy of hotel wasn't clearly and staffs speaks in English very poor.

Breakfast was standard with a lot of bread. Staff was nice and helpful. Location is sketch at night. During the day it’s fine. I’d recommend if your on a budget.

Great hotel and accommodations. One unfortunate thing was they were resurfacing the street and for 3 nights in row it was quite loud until well past 2am. No fault of the hotel, the blame lays squarely on the city of Rio de Janeiro, not all marvelous.

Very nice hotel, affordable, about a 15 minute walk from the highlife of Lapa and the center of Rio. Close to grocery stores, restaurants. Very nice gym, rooms are pretty large, the sheets are smaller than the bed (ha,ha). Nice little restaurant. Breakfast is fine, nothing special, I just wish the eggs were prepared as needed, rather than stay cold throughout the morning. The room was not made up after the first night, but extra sheets were provided by the reception when requested.

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and the 24 hour room service. Also restaurant staff were very friendly and professional. Also enjoyed the amenities of the hotel like free breakfast, cable tv, air condition, etc. I think what can be improved is more tours and also the reception staff can more friendly. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

With the city being packed for Rock in Rio, and hotel prices skyrocketed, they gave my room away even though I paid in full about 6 months ago. So that left me in the middle of Rio, the only rooms left we’re into the THOUSANDS, and they tried putting me up in a little hotel a few blocks away, saying it was also their hotel, so the room is still through them. Upon being dropped off there, I found the wifi didn’t work, and the room was about 10x10ft square, with signs up against prostitution etc. I had to cab back again and ask what the heck they were trying to do, and demanded my money back. They had me wait and sit in the lobby while they tried to figure things out, and was trying to make phone calls/use my data to resolve my own issue. I found myself elsewhere to stay. They’re lucky all the got was me yelling and cursing at them. Thieves.

Stayed here for one night for it’s accessibility to the airport. The room was huge , there was free breakfast in the morning and the staff was super friendly. Checkin and Checkout were a breeze. I had a pleasant stay.

The hotel was clean (despite the less clean neighborhood) and the room was spacious and clean as well. The staff did a good job with daily cleaning. The beds were comfortable. On the other hand, the personnel at the breakfast buffet were not friendly (i.e., they barely said "Hi") and appeared to be "spying" on us because we were foreigners.

Very good position,near to Sambadrom and downtown,clean,very nice and profesional staff, excellent and tasty breakfast, lunch ,dinner and not expensive ,we ate all our meals at the hotel for 2 weeks and we didn’t get bored ,rooms very clean and in general the hotel is very clean and safe. All staff is super nice and professional most of them speak English and very helpful.

Hotel is located in Rio Central and is close for lot of sights and during the Carnival walk to Sambadrome. Very clean prompt room services and full breakfast buffet. Restaurant still open 24H and they have room service. Evening chief prepare delicious meals and you can adjust the menu items. Very safe inside the hotel with safety box , camera every where .Only one small thing on the unpleasant side is the AC stop to work when you leave the room and when come back is very hot and unpleasant.I want congratulate the owner for the god job

The employees were considerate. Some actually spoke English which was helpful. The staff went out of their way to assist me and my other 2 companions with CPAPs, extra beds, etc. I always felt safe. This facility is close to downtown and close to thw Sambadrome. There are not that many amenities near by however. There is a friendly local restaurant across the street which the food is good, reasonable, and the drinks are strong. Overall, I had a good experience.
