The staff was amazing, Alexander, Lajara, Nelson, to name a few. The beach was beautiful and clean and you could always find a chair. The Italian and fondue restaurants were amazing.

The resort was ok. Nelson in the pool bar is amazing. He engages, he smiles and he knows some English. The bathrooms in the rooms need major renovations. We had a vent over our toilet that dripped brown water as you sat on the toilet. We reported it the day of arrival. Maintenance was already in our room to fix the safe. They said they’d be back in 5 minutes. They never came back. Bath towels are a hot commodity there so it’s hard to get more than 2 towels at a time. The restaurants are not clean. I never once saw them wipe a table down. When guests left they would flip the dirty place mat over and add new silverware. I saw several restaurant workers in the bathroom. They never wash their hands before returning to work. The food is ok, it’s resort food. The language barrier is bad. I get it, we are in their country but if your job is literally to work with tourist then you should at least have a basic understanding of English. It’s a pretty resort and it has so much potential but it needs and upgrade and probably some service training. There’s nightly entertainment in the lobby which is nice. The pool has an activity crew that starts around 3. We didn’t have a problem getting pool chairs at all.

Food is not good - staff is amazing though. Not much to do on property. They do have an entertainment team which are super nice and try to make your stay the best. Would not recommend though

I did not like anything about this property, they treated my husband and i very different than all the other tourists. The reason why they treated us that way was because we were Dominicans. We are still paying our money and deserve the same treatment. Very unhappy with the service here . Rooms are also extremely run down.
