"I love this hotel! This is the best hidden gem of a hotel! The original architecture is amazing and well cared for. The grounds are majestic where you can just imagine folks back in the day sitting out on the lawn. The view of the river is surreal and you have access to it with just a few steps down to the river beach area. The special events they offer are high end! Something that you would except from a big city hotel. I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel and their staff! I highly recommend to all! A must stay hotel!!"

"You get what you expect from a motel. Old furniture, spotty carpet floors, a bit smelly, and sometimes absent front desk. But not bad for the price."

"Enjoyed my stay at the lodge and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed on a weekday after a long drive and there are currently no meal options during the week. It would be nice to have had food options on property besides the market across the street."

"The only problem we had was there was nowhere for our dog to go to the bathroom. And no outside trash cans to put the poop bags in. Other than that, the pillows were extremely comfortable and they had coffee in the room. They did not have a hairdryer."
