"It’s such a beautiful and peaceful spot to stay, with amazing views all over the Fox Acres community property. We’re really looking forward to going back!"

"Cabin is beautiful and comfortable. Dinnerware and utensils were high quality and abundant. Beside the normal appliances, there is a blender, air fryer, and a waffle iron just to mention a few. Plenty of linens for baths. Very peaceful and the views were beautiful. Dan responded almost immediately when we had a question. Cabin was very clean."

"Outstanding cabin with great views all day long. The commercial fridge and deep freeze was perfect for our meal prep for our family of 5. The kitchen is well equipped for any meal. We grilled on the 2 burner propane grill every night off the back porch which is ideal for late afternoon or late evening dining. The AC unit worked well during the hot afternoons we experienced during our stay.(mid 80’s) I recommend bringing your own coffee maker if you have a group of heavy coffee lovers. The single serving coffee cup machine couldn’t keep up with the demand. If we weren’t at the lake we spent most of our time on the front porch. If you go to Dowdy Lake and pay 10 for a day pass, you can dump your trash in their dumpsters by the boat dock and spend a great day at the beach. We’ll be back next year."

"This a very remote area which is exactly what we wanted. The are quite a few places to hike and explore in the area. After exploring, we could sit on the back deck to read and listen to the creek and the birds. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. Communication with the host was very easy and we had no trouble with check in or house issues. Also, the host provided extra treats which in our VRBO experience is quite unusual."

"The peace and quiet was just what we needed. We ate every meal out on the deck taking in the beautiful scenery. My daughter and I enjoyed star gazing in the hot tub each night. The only thing missing was the sighting of a deer or moose!Definitely would recommend. Bonnie P."

"We had a wonderful stay! The location is beautiful with wide open scenery and wildlife to enjoy, and the remote location made for fantastic star gazing at night. The kitchen was very well stocked and easy to make family meals in. We enjoyed fishing in the lake and playing in the game room. The hosts were very friendly and communicative as well, thank you!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The views from the deck were absolutely amazing, and we even spotted some wildlife right outside. Evenings spent sitting around the fire table were a highlight—so peaceful and relaxing. The home was comfortable, well‑appointed, and met all of our wants and needs. Our hostess was prompt in responding to messages, and everything was exactly as advertised. Highly recommend."
