"Comfortable stay in a nice and cozy cabin near the lake. Games, deck of cards, and books would have been a nice addition being other VRBO rentals usually have them. Wife says a few more dish towels would have been helpful. We found the bed a little hard for our older bodies. The TVs and heating/AC unit worked great. Really loved being close to the water and the beautiful evening lake views, especially with a full moon. Guests need to bring their canoe or kayak."

Rocky Cliff Retreat at Davis Lake

"My family and I spent four days at the Rocky cliff retreat and it was absolutely wonderful. It has the perfect amount of privacy, while still being easy to get to. We took my daughter’s senior portraits at the lake we’ve been going to her whole life- and then we ended up taking some on the deck of the property because it’s just gorgeous out there. The host is easy to contact and responds quickly. The kitchen literally had everything we needed and I love that the coffee maker is a coffee pot and not pods. My kids absolutely loved the basement area and officially marked this their favorite house that we’ve rented at Lake Davis. The living room is super cozy and the furniture is very comfortable- the wood burning stove just tops it off. I would love to stay in the winter with the stove going - tons of board games and an endless supply of coffee. We would easily recommend this house to anyone wanting to visit the area. I hope we end up renting it again in the future."

"We had our family reunion with 12 adults and 5 children. It was a perfect set-up with everyone having their own space. Beautiful surroundings with a grass area for the kids to run around. Cabin 11 was the dinner gathering spot on the deck over looking the lake. We rented a pontoon boat at the resort next to us and had a great time tubing . Clint was great in communicating with us. Shout out to Katie housekeeping who got us flashlights, batteries and puck lights for the power outage we had due to high winds. Great well stocked grocery store a block up the road. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this rental."
