However, the cabin was ice cold when we checked in. The gas fireplace was insufficient to adequately warm the living space; that is, we had the thermostat cranked to 85, but the interior temp never rose above 65\. We had to borrow blankets and space heater from our daughter who had a full house on the Peninsula.We also discovered one window open about 1/2”, which obviously created inefficiency. There was a live spider and web in the Keurig water reservoir for the coffee maker. When we stripped the bedsheets before checking out, we discovered a filthy mattress pad.Last, but not least, the day we drove in, we were met by a gentleman walking down the hill from the market. He didn’t identify himself, but he DID tell us what the “unlock code” was - which created a safety issue for us - for what was to stop anyone from entering the cabin in our absence? I learned later that it was the onsite manager, but the dude could have introduced himself.The value for the amount paid was not what we expected. ##### Michael M. However, it is in dire need of a deep cleaning. Floors were dirty, pet hair on the ice in freezer, pet hair on the brown curtains & window sills. Windows were covered in dirt & the bathroom shower is in need of repair. It had a significant water leak, was not clean. The unit is not set up for people who plan to attend an important function. No iron, ironing board, or full length mirror to assist with dress clothing. Cliff the maintenance man was very friendly & is working on the shower issue. ##### Johnna O. The location was great right next to the lake. The floors and shower were very dirty. There was no screens on the windows so you couldn’t open to let the cool air in. You couldn’t adjust the ceiling fan over the bed and the fan blades were every dirty. The cooking pans were in really bad shape nonstick coating on the bottoms was all scratched up. There was no place to put your clothes. The front window didn’t lock. There was only one little ice tray to make ice. The outside table and barbecue were very dirty.
