Located in Almanor Lakeside Resort, just off Peninsula Drive, it is only a few steps from the water. The living room has a 55" flat-screen Smart TV with DVD player, air conditioner, and gas fireplace. Kitchen includes large dining table, refrigerator, gas stove with oven, microwave, programmable coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, electric tea pot, mixer, blender, electric fry pan, dishes, pots & pans, silverware and utensils. Vacuum cleaner, broom & mop and hand vac are provided for quick clean ups. One large bedroom has king-size bed with desk and flat-screen Smart TV as well as sliding glass doors to the deck with a lake view. Second bedroom has queen bed and flat screen TV. There are ceiling fans in each room. Bedding and towels are provided. Hair dryer provided in re-modeled bathroom with glass shower. Lake view deck has gas grill, table & chairs, and small fenced area for pets. Small and medium/large sized dogs will be considered for a non-refundable $50 fee. Covered front porch has table & chairs and two easy chairs. A free slip is provided for your boat between April 15th and October 31st so you won't have to re-launch during your stay. The resort includes lawn area with picnic tables. Also two more 2-bedroom, 1 bath cabins available for rent. Please go to VRBO/674621 and 1276385. One studio cabin available at VRBO/921323. Resort is conveniently located across the street from Peninsula Market with coffee shop and deli and next door to the Red Onion Restaurant and Bar. The check-in was so efficient, exactly as described in the listing. The cabin is light & bright and laid out well. It was our first lake trip with our kids and it was so wonderful to wake up and have the view of the lake from the kitchen and a large deck to hang out, eat and watch the sunset. We enjoyed the convenience of being so close to knotty pine boat rentals and having our own personal dock to pull up to if you have your own boat or if you need to refuel on snacks while in your rented boat. There’s a grassy area to play with your fur baby as well. Coffee and convenience store are just across the street and there are many great restaurants in the area. We brought the kids last minute, so it was nice to have the market close by. It would have been nice ro have some sandwich baggies and tin foil on hand, but we made it by without.The hosts we great! They were around when we got there, and even offered to unload our things!We came for a relaxing fishing trip, but having a couple of 12 year old girls come along changed all of that. Awesome view of Big Cove from the deck and great access to the water with private dock and launch. This is my 4th time renting from Karen and Clint and they are super responsive and available if needed. They have updated the internet to super fast satellite service for those that want to go online or stream a movie. Fishing was incredible with 28 catch and release trout in 3 days for two people.
