"Have stayed here before and returned as we love the convenience of the property for visiting nearby attractions. Owners really friendly and welcoming. Room we requested is large and comfortable, although mattresses were a little softer than we remember, so beds not quite as comfortable as when we visited in 2022. However everything was very clean. Good value meals available in the evening and inclusive breakfast is very good."

"The condition of the building is tired. All the sash windows had broken sash chords. The heating on a cold night was barely adequate - I got into a comfortable and clean bed to keep warm. Lovely towels on a heated towel rail made it a pleasure getting out of the shower. I was kept waiting 45 minutes for breakfast because the chef was not informed I was going to be there .
