The staff is very helpful. If you need something they are very accommodating. The location is great. It is close to all the shopping. They have a dock right outside the hotel that can bring you by private transfer ($$$). Another option is the "bus taxi" where you bring your luggage on and you get off at San Marco Vallossa. Its a 5 min walk. If I can do it, anyone can! The breakfast is ok. Downside for travellers. The hotel needs to update the rooms and repaint. No elevator. 2nd floor = 4 flights of stairs but they have someone that will bring your luggage up to your room and back down. It is a very busy dock and used for bringing supplies to all the businesses nearby in the morning- very noisy. But All the waterways are noisy, Welcome to Venice!!

The palazzo dei fiori was very roomy, clean, and the communication was very good. Good mattresses allowed us to sleep well. Close to tons of restaurants, shopping, and excursions. The room was stocked with refreshments, fresh fruit, snacks, and coffee. We could hear musicians practicing classical music and opera singers singing in the distance. At first I was not certain, but the following evening, we found out that the palazzo de Musica opera was next door where we were delighted by the operatic story of la traviata and a glass of champagne. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

VERY pleasant staff to a degree of 100%. Very good and wide ranging breakfast. Very nice indoor and outdoor sitting areas. 5 stories tall but the elevator was not working. Air conditioning except in the main lobby was week everywhere. Lowest temperature in Room 203 was 79 degrees with no A/C in the bathroom…which is very common in Venice. Lowest achievable temperature in Rooms 501 and 502 were 85 degrees. Only 50 feet from the Ca’Doro Vaporetto #1 drop…VERY convenient. The outdoor temperature was 95 degrees for 3 days, so I am certain that this hotel would be exceptional if the outdoor temperature was always below 82 degrees. All of Venice was very high temperature stifling during this trip. I would enthusiastically stay there again if that were the case….cooler by at least 13 degrees Fahrenheit outdoors.
