"The Place to Stay When Flying in to Prince Rupert"
This is a great hotel at a reasonable price. The shuttle from the airport makes its only stop right next to the hotel's main entrance, which could literally not be more convenient. It's a block from National Car rental, across the street from Tim Hortons, beside a fantastic multi-ethnic (Greek, Italian, and Indian) restaurant that actually does a delicious version of each, and stumbling distance from the casino. It's got an amazingly-friendly staff, who will do their best to feed you every bite available in their breakfast buffet, that features both pancake and waffle machines, juices, coffee/tea, cereal, yogurts, pastries, and fruit. The next time I'm in Prince Rupert, where I stay will be a very easy decision.

The windows had no screens, so it did get hot since i was on the west-side over looking the parking lot and casino. Lucky they had a portable fan to use.

We stayed here for 4 nights while in town visiting friends over the Thanksgiving weekend. The location was excellent, we loved the underground parking since it rained the whole time we were there. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was satisfactory (although I would have like to see more fruit options or maybe some yogurt). The bed was also very comfortable. I think it will be much nicer after the renovations because it definitely needs an upgrade. We also had trouble getting much for hot water if anything over the whole weekend. When we did finally get some hot water, our shower didn't even work. It almost seemed like the knob was permanently welded in place or something. I didn't feel that the room was worth the rate we paid. I think it's about $20 too high. My overall rating would definitely be higher with a lower room rate. I wouldn't not recommend this hotel but my recommendation would come with a few disclaimers.

Spacious apartment hotel. Comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen. Fairly long walk to waterfront . Easy going downhill but tiring climbing back up the steep hill when coming back to the hotel.

"Surprisingly Excellent!"
We travelled by train and arrived 4 hours past expected arrival in the wee hours of the morning and Mary was there to greet us and get us to our room. We had booked the room online so didn't really know what to expect but it was lovely with a sitting area and private bathroom, as well as a gorgeous harbour view, and a private entrance out onto the deck overlooking the harbour. It was just gorgeous!! Breakfasts were wonderful and all home cooked. Loved it, would definitely recommend, and plan to go back!
