"This was such a cute little place tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Our family stayed the weekend of the 50th anniversary of Expo '74 and Bloomsday and could not have been more in love with this. We decided to take Lyfts downtown and pickups were easy from the street and quick to downtown. Groceries and Restaurants are many and within a 10min drive. You get the feel of the old time cottage history with all modern updates and comforts. Mari was very responsive and an awesome host. Thank you!"

"We enjoyed our two night stay in the upper loft of the Billiken Inn. It was nicely decorated and had nice unexpected amenities, such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. It's been nicely remodeled. It was very quiet except for the train whistles. Since it is a loft unit, there were a number of times when my husband bumped his head on the angled ceiling."

"This property is truly a home! If you love to cook, the kitchen is amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and you can tell that thoughtfulness was used when decorating and creating a truly wonderful experience. It is only a few blocks from the lake and in a quiet neighborhood. The outdoor area with the fire pit and BBQ is relaxing after a long day! We will return!"

"Great little place!!! Met our needs for a party of 3 perfectly. Might work for a party of 4 if 2 are kids as it is small. Everything was new and updated, except for the cute, nostalgic fridge. The property is amazing and beautifully kept. Small bar nearby that had outdoor, live music one night. Grocery store, bar and burger joint within a block and easy to walk to. Felt very safe in this. Will definitely stay here again!! "
