The fire pit propane was empty, but the owner was extremely responsive and brought us a new one in short order. The only downside was the proximity to the railroad, which had trains coming every 15-20min at some points.. wasn’t terrible, but a minor nuisance. Overall the stay was great."

"My mom, who is 91, along with my two neices and their mother, take an annual girl's trip. We rypically get a hotel, but this year we changed it up for a beachy vibe. The house is gorgeous and very comfortable. The neighborhood of mostly vacation rentals was quiet and low key. The property manager was super responsive to our needs and friendly. The golf cart was a big hit! It was such fun driving around the little neighborhood and to the beach. We really enjoyed our time at the Vahalla."

"We traveled about 3 hours from Wisconsin to see my niece graduate high school. We stayed in the house - myself, my sister and my mom who is 80. I should have read the description better, I thought one of the bedrooms was on the main level of the house. The main bathroom with shower was upstairs. The stairs were solid with a good railing, so mom did okay. I think this might be more my mistake than the description, but a small challenge. "Very nice location in Michigan City, IN, just a short boardwalk stroll to the Lake Michigan beach. We live in central Missouri and only had a 6-hr drive. Spent good portion of a day and did some hiking at Indiana Dunes National Park, which was less than 20 minutes away. Spent another day taking in the 44th Annual Popcorn Festival in Valparaiso IN, which was very enjoyable. Also went up the Michigan shoreline to New Buffalo, St Joseph and Benton Harbor to some nice beaches and restaurants. Very...

"We were here for a funeral and this home was a wonderful place to gather with family as the deck and family room are perfect. With 7 bedrooms, although smallish, everyone had their own space to which to retreat. It is a very well stocked hpuse and Brittany was soo sweet and communication was excellent. She even left us flowers and a condolence card. We hope to return to this beach house again and spend more time on the great beach that's such an easy walk from the house. Thank you for sharing !"
