"Brilliant stay, Helen and Shaun were excellent hosts. Studio with a private garden proved excellent for the dog with plenty of room for us all. Excellent breakfast choice every morning, with Shaun the king of poached eggs, and a selection of jams and marmalade’s sold by the tearoom. Helen and Shaun are a wealth of local knowledge with great dog walks or pubs to eat at. The garden is nice and secure so the dog can just come and go with no fear of being able to get out. "

"You wake up to a wonderful side Porlock weir right in front of your window you see the weir the sea in the morning the sun blue skies and amazing sunsets. The property had everything you need, all very comfortable and cosy. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful. It’s just a beautiful relaxing stay."

"We stayed at Plum Tree Cottage for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The cottage was spacious and clean and was equipped with everything you could need. A real home from home. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding villages, beaches and landmarks. Would highly recommend"

"We were disappointed by the condition of this holiday property which was described on Vbro.com as being dog friendly and having a 'courtyard, providing the perfect spot to eat alfresco'. The courtyard was covered in weeds, moss, and dirt, unlike the beautiful, landscaped garden belonging to the owner's property. The front door to the cottage was heavily scratched and the window frames were filthy. The last thing we wanted to do was 'eat alfresco' in this area. There was no mention on Vbro.com...

"Beautiful location. Very dog friendly. We had a king size room overlooking the harbour. It was up a few flights of stairs but this was not an issue for us. Use of guest pantry which was a lovely touch. Very good breakfast menu. All staff were very friendly and helpful. "
