« Had a great fishing trip with family. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 kids. Some birders in the family were really excited about the wide variety of migrating spring warblers. Incredibly peaceful and quiet setting. Star gazing was also amazing. Much better than on Snowshoe mountain because of light pollution from the resort. Only downsides were a couple of the showers weren’t functioning well but likely can be fixed easily. Also had evidence of mice which isn’t too surprising given the wooded...

« Emily has been a great host...very accommodating and quick to respond. The house and views are beautiful. The kitchen is well supplied with plenty of dishes, utensils, cups, etc. as well as small appliances, cookie sheets, etc. The coffee bar, with the additional beverage refrigerators were especially lovely and appreciated by our group. « Overall, we did enjoy the cabin. The location is very good. About a 5 to 7 minute walk to the ski slopes near the top of the Souring Eagle Lift. We found this to be very convenient. Also, it is easy for someone to drop you off by car at the top of the Souring Eagle Lift as well. « This cabin could have been cleaner. There was a leak in the bathroom, that left water on the floor. Bedrooms are a bit small for furniture. Very small bathroom. Loved the front porch and fire pit. Very quiet and peaceful and a large variety of birds. The communication was a little off. I was told on the phone that the cottage was rented through Evolve. We straightened it out in the end and we had a good time seeing the sights. »

« We absolutely loved our stay at this property near Marlington! The cabin is beautiful and still has that wonderful fresh, new-build feel. It was spotless, cozy, and such a peaceful place to relax.We had been a little concerned about staying during hot weather since there isn't air conditioning, but the ceiling fans kept the cabin surprisingly comfortable.
