We were able to put our kayaks in at the cabin and float to Buckeye and Seebert. We enjoyed the large porch and the dining area for games of Uno. The kitchen certainly had what we needed. The house is near all sorts of outdoor activities. Great facilities for relaxing in the screened in porch or by the large firepit. The location had easy access to nearby Marlinton. The cabin was spacious with a great kitchen and large bedrooms and baths. The home was beautiful and well maintained and the location was perfect for our planned activities of kayaking, fishing, and relaxing.While on or near the property we saw deer, eagles and other wildlife and we were on the river every day.Sitting on the porch overlooking the river was fantastic, with chances for being both outside and on the screened in porch when it rained.The check in process was clear and easy. This place was stunning, absolutely beautiful and relaxing. It had plenty of space to accommodate us all! Very clean and comfortable. One thing I would recommend is having back up linen such as top and bottom sheets, pillow cases and blankets. Maybe a larger trash bin for bigger/longer stays. Other than that- no complaints!
