Pleasant Point Vacation Packages

This was a wonderful place to stay. Lovely spacious room in a great location. Would most definitely recommend it.

The cabin was cute with all the natural wood on the inside. The deck is in need of lot of repair as some boards were rotten. We decided not to use the patio chairs as all the welds were broken and we didn’t want to get hurt. To use the bbq we would have had to spend $30 for the propane tank. Good thing we didnt because the bbq was completely falling apart rotten on the inside. When we first went in the keycode lock door is kind of tricky to use. I think because of the natural wood in the bathroom and some people are not very clean, all i could smell was urine. I left the bathroom door closed and its window wide open to keep the smell in there. I liked that it came with a full sized kitchen so we had a stove and oven and fridge and were supplied a small amount of pans and stuff to use. I did have to go to town to get dish soap as i am not sure what was in the bottle supplied but it didn’t seem like dish soap. No cleaners are supplied. Make sure you bring extra toilet paper as they charge extra for more then one roll. Last thing was that our septic holding tank would over flow every time we flushed the toilet and all you could smell was sewage out on the front deck after. There was some miscommunication due to language barriers while we were there. The lake view was amazing! Our fire pit was right on the water it was very nice. The cottage was cute but needs quite a bit of maintenance.

Came here for the first time my family. Amazing place. Lots of stuff to do. Very kids friendly. Definitely recommend;

A beautiful cabin with all mod cons

We were unfamiliar with the Haliburton Post House and booked two nights , mid week, on a whim to get out of town. The room was beautiful, the food and wine selection was great. We took advantage of their waterfront and toys on what may have been the hottest day of the year. Thanks to the staff who made us feel welcome and were the highlight of our stay.
