Stayed 6 nights with two teens. The room was fantastic, beds comfy, breakfast AMAZING, hammocks on the beach, paddleboards, kayaks, pool - quiet and laid back but only a short 20 min. golf cart ride to Placencia. We will be back!

This was a lovely place to stay - having a cabana right on the beach meant waking up to the sunrise with waves lapping the shore. The Bistro is exceptional. Dee and Marlin were super helpful in making sure all of our days tours were organized - making the most of our ten days! This accommodation is quite far away from the main village so you need to choose it if you are looking for somewhere away from the busy areas - we felt like we were totally able to decompress so it was perfect for us!

Then pool was very cooling and quite private.d We were very impressed with the amenities that were provided, especially in the kitchen.

What a gem of a hotel. Being on site is like a little oasis of your own oasis. Beautiful pool, beach, dock and a great restaurant. If we come back will definitely be staying here.

We travel quite a bit and this is one of the best places. Excellent staff and property ! Would recommend to anyone

We were treated great from the moment we arrived to the time we checked out. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a great variety of plants, the entire site is raked to clean up fallen leaves almost daily. The rooms are well maintained and spotless, beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet beach, hammocks and pool a great deal. Amazing view of the valley and distant ocean. Restaurant on site. Cabins are new with A/C, WIFI, fridge, coffee maker and a comfortable bed. We stayed in the economy cabin overlooking the lower pool. Walk right out the back door to the pool. Nice covered patio area attached to cabin. The turn for this resort is off the Southern Hwy, located 300 metres north of the Hopkins town intersection. Amazing beachfront property in the heart of Placencia. Staff was great and we would recommend staying here if you are going to Placencia. Tons of food and drink options around!

Beautiful large rooms with very comfortable beds. Great location right on the beach and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Staff are great and helpful. We loved our time at The Ellysian

The room was great. Clean and lots of space. We enjoyed the beach, water was great and sunrises were beautiful!! The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Val was amazing, great helping book us for tours, breakfast and makes THE best pina coladas!! She went above and beyond!

The staff are helpful and Chef Rob, is amazing chef, the food is delicious, the place quite far from the town but you can rent a golf cart or you can cycle. There’s a bicycle for the staff to use and Kayaks. The resort don’t serve lunch but lots of restaurants in the area. Beachfront hotel. We highly recommend the place and for sure we’ll be back to this Hotel
