« The place is clean and quiet. You cannot enter with luggage from the front door. You have to enter through the garage which means there are two flights of stairs so if you do have a lot of suitcases or elderly with you it’s something to consider. We had a lot of suitcases, a family member on oxygen, and assumed we could enter from the first floor. We planned to keep the suitcases on the first floor for the stay. Parking is great and it is a great area. »

« Pet friendly, close to the attractions I was interested in. A lot of confusion at first, probably my fault for not fully understanding the listing. The home address is for the main house on the property not the carriage house I rented. This was confusing to me when I arrived in the dark. Host and I were able to sort it out the next day. Will consider renting again in the future, except there is no washer, dryer or iron in the property which I didn’t realize when booking. »

15. Dog-Friendly Pittsburgh Home, 3 Mi to Downtown!

« Super cute house! Amenities were more than enough! Convenient location but not necessarily in the best area. There were a few little issues with the place..The thermostat didn't work, the smoke detectors were beeping all night due to needing new batteries, all propane tanks were empty outside, the parking situation is awful causing one of us to get our cars towed on the very first night. All and all it was a nice place. I would recommend for convenience but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. »
