The railing on the hallway steps was broken. Her never shoveled the snow on the steps or sidewalk Nar stated it just snowed that morning and it would take him 24 to 48 hours to clean it up. Other surrounding properties were cleaned up. The house was exactly as found in the pictures and descriptions and the host was responsive when contacted. The only reason for not rating as a five was due to a railing going up the fairly steep stairs not not being securley attached to the wall and a shower head in the upstairs bathroom leaking and splashing water onto the floor. For the younger members of our group these were more of an annoyance but for my wife and I in our 60's it was a safety issue. The items were not resolved while we were there due to our short stay but the host responded and indicated that both issues would be fixed for the next guests. All of the major areas (lawrenceville, shady side, north shore, the strip district) are quick uber/lyft rides away. The apartment was comfortable and easily slept 4 of us (one had to stay on the couch). The upstairs could get a little warm during the nights but AC was available.
