Our neighborhood had been neglected for a while, but is rapidly seeing an influx of investment & revitalization! Our street is a mix of brand new remodels, homes that haven\`t been remodeled since the 60s, vacant homes, and empty lots. It\`s a safe area with little traffic on foot or otherwise. We\`re only \~4 blocks from East Ohio St., with lots of bars & restaurants, \~7 blocks from Penn Brewery, and \~10 minutes walk to the Strip District, just across the bridge! Guest is responsible for all child proofing. Any child amenities (pack & plays, high chairs, etc.) shall be completely and fully inspected for satisfactory working order by Guest prior to use. Hosts do not inspect child amenities between stays, and any injuries resulting from their use are 100% guest-related. 5\. There is no daily housekeeping service. While the house has been thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival and linens and bath towels are included, daily maid service is not included in the rate. 6\. We are very flexible hosts, and do not ask or expect our guests to clean prior to check out, other than starting the dishwasher. Newly renovated, beautifully decorated, 4 large screen TVs with space for family movie night on the upper level. All your basic needs are provided for. Extremely clean!! Great location for short walk to the stadiums or a short drive to the Strip. Pittsburgh brewery is just a few short blocks away too. I gave the property only 4 stars for location. The area is in the early stages of redevelopment and first appearance can be unsettling, After a day exploring the neighborhood we could clearly see restoration of properties in the area with new builds. We always felt safe. This property is truly a hidden gem. I expect this neighborhood will be much like the Strip. A little of the old, with full revitalization. The owners messaged us to let us know they were available if we needed assistance. We had no need, but felt reassured that they would have been. Couldn't have asked for more. Beds were very comfortable and place was spacious. We went for events at PNC park and it was walking distance or a very affordable Uber or Lyft.The area is a little interesting. During day, it feels safe but at night it gets more interesting. Keep your head on a swivel and don’t wonder too far from the property. ##### Steve S. It’s well decorated and comfortable. The beds are comfy and the linens are crisp. The kitchen is very well appointed with high quality appliances, dishes, pots and pans and utensils. The home is very clean and neat with a fun surprise with a Pac-Man arcade game. Would highly recommend. The location is perfect to downtown and easy access to the entire city. It really only sleeps 4 comfortably and if theyre couples or willing to share beds. The loft os definitely more for hanging out than as an extra bed. Especially that king bed. I need that mattress! The only issue we had was that we couldnt use the theatre room. My 80 year old mom struggled with the steep stairs to get up there. But we moved the living room furniture around and had some great netflix and chill time. The bar right up the street was great and the people were friendly.
