"Fantastic views of chalk mountain. Wonderful pool and jacuzzi jets. Upstairs low small toilets were a challenge for tall people with knee problems. Great kitchen and living room. Hot water only showers almost burnt me!"

"Very big house with lots of spaces for our family of 10. It was nice to have bedrooms on all levels. Beds were comfortable. Chris, the manager was responsive and quick to respond to our needs. Beautiful location with a fabulous fire circle right beside the beautiful Chalk Creek. Thank you."

The Cabin - just what you need for a mountain get-a-way!

"This is an older, basic property, but it worked well for us. The driveway is great and we were able to manuever our 18 foot trailer with no problems. The gas grill worked well. The kitchen was well equipped and all the appliances worked. The fridge was nice and cold. We cook our own meals so this is important to us.I agree with the other reviewers who say the larger bed's mattress is very hard. We had to move to the smaller bed which was more comfortable.It was nice to have a full size washer and dryer and we took advantage of it to do a load of laundry.The house sits back from the road and it is quiet and feels private."

"We had a lovely stay! The cabin had everything we needed, with beautiful views and plenty of peace and quiet. We brought our teenage son and two dogs, and it was a wonderful getaway for the whole family.The hot tub was phenomenal, especially at night. On a clear evening, the view of the Milky Way from the hot tub was incredible and definitely one of the highlights of our stay.Communication was great, and everything went smoothly. We also spent some time fishing for trout at nearby Chalk Lake and had a blast. If you enjoy fishing, bring some butter worms. The trout loved them!Beautiful location, relaxing atmosphere, and a great place to unplug and enjoy the mountains. We would love to stay here again!"

"The apartment above the General Store was perfect for our week long stay in Pitkin. We were able to leave directly from the store and ride many beautiful trails in our side by side. Cory and his family were awesome. Cory even loaned us a tool to fix our Polaris on our last day there. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a nice clean and quiet place to stay. The town of Pitkin is a very cute and charming town. My husband enjoyed drinking coffee on the front porch each morning with the locals and tourists. It is also pet friendly! "
