World class golf, at the Club at Crested Butte, is 2 minutes away. You can hike and bike right from the house as it borders the Gunnison National Forest! Enjoying the magnificent views from the hot tub on the south facing deck after a long day in the mountains, doing any of these activities, will surely hit the spot. Walking through the front door, you'll enter a lovely foyer and then enter directly into the ground floor media room. This comfortable gathering space has a gas fireplace, large smart TV with Spectrum cable channels as well as streaming capabilities, a wetbar with a refrigerator, keurig, and sink. Two bedrooms, one with a king and one with two twin beds are also on this floor and share a full bathroom with a bathtub/shower. The entrance from the oversized two car garage, mudroom and laundry room are all also located on the ground floor. Upstairs you'll find a very spacious and extremely inviting living area. The recently renovated kitchen boasts and enormous island with seating for 5, anything an aspiring chef could want, and an overall feeling of being "in" the middle of an aspen grove. There is a deck adjacent with a gas grill and a dedicated workspace on the end of the kitchen counter. The dining table, ensconsed by windows and below an impressive antler chandelier, has seating for 8\. The living room is quintessentially mountain chic. The gorgeous natural stone wood burning fireplace creates such an inviting atmosphere. You'll want to sink into the leather couch and read a great book or talk for hours with family and friends. There is a large smart TV with spectrum channels and streaming capability. A wetbar with wine refrigerator, sink and ice maker are at arm's length as well as a spectacular view from the hot tub on the south facing deck off of the living room. Outdoor seating is also available. A four person table for overflow dining, working on a puzzle or playing games is tucked in the corner of the living room as well. A guest room with a queen bed is located off the living area as well as a full bath with a shower. The primary suite with a king bed, sitting area, smart TV and ensuite full bath are also located on this floor. The bathroom has a soaking tub, large steam shower with natural stone and a large walk in closet. Everything has been provided at "Aspen Forest" for a memorable visit to Crested Butte. This property is within 15 minutes to the ski resort. The minimum age for all persons in this property is 30 years, excepting children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian. Unfortunately, this property does not allow pets of any kind. Please note that our company does have a separate rental policy that will be emailed to you immediately after booking and this will need to be signed by you. If you wish to see it prior to booking, just send us an email. This well designed colorado lodge home is beautifully sited in a dense aspen grove on a quiet cul de sac. The enormous “cook’s” kitchen is well equipped for even serious cooks and lots of place settings of dishes, silverware, and glassware make it easy to serve a crowd. The four bedrooms are attractively furnished and very comfortable. The numerous closets are so large that we used one as a nursery. We took our family, kids and their friends up to Crested Butte and stayed at this MAGNIFICENT house in an Aspen grove! The home is gorgeous! The views are gorgeous. The beds are super comfy, the linens were lovely. It was clean, well-stocked, and we loved cooking and eating big family dinners and playing games at the large table under the antler chandelier! We sat in the hot tub in the early evenings with a glass of wine. We saw a little deer off the deck. And we loved watching the hummingbirds enjoy their feeders. Having two living rooms was perfect as well. We hiked to a beautiful view right out the door of the house. It could not have been more perfect! Everything was even better than pictured. It was so nice having a lot of space in the main living area and kitchen. This house had enough space for everyone in the family.
