« This little guest house was cozy! We also rented the main house on the property, so this was very useful and comfortable as an extra room. One member of our party had an early morning wakeup for an event during our visit, so it was nice for them to be able to have their own separate entrance and exit. »

« Erin at the front desk was very helpful! The hotel needs a dramatic update. The rooms are dated. Outside the rooms are old chairs that are rusted and need to be replaced. Not business friendly. Not much to do in Shelter Cove either. I saw the beach and that's about it. Nice cool weather. The road in and out was long and dangerous to drive. Don't get too close to the edge of the property or it's a long way down. »

« The location was great in terms of being so close to the Ave of the Giants, however the lodge was right on the highway so there was some noise, but not much. Not all cottages are created not created equal. We were given a cabin that was not at all what was indicated in the photos. There were two bedrooms w/no livingroom or kitchen. We were able to upgrade for a little more money and found the "new", roomier accomodations very comfortable. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked...
