We were only there for one night (moving our student in at Clemson) but fired up the grill and made steaks and burgers. I would not consider this an upscale/modern rental but Roya was a great host and had everything we needed for the whole crew. Good selection of kitchen wares…reliable WiFi… TV’s in every room. « My son and I stayed here for 5 nights for our annual mountain bike road trip and loved it. Clean, spacious, and comfortable. Used the grill almost every night for dinner and the hot tub was great for relaxing after each day of challenging rides. Great location in town close to all the conveniences and only 15-20 minutes away from most trailheads for both biking and hiking. Check-in and check-out were as easy as it gets. Would definitely stay again. »

« Apparently I misunderstood amenities, or lack there of, when booking. There NO WiFi, there are TV’s but you have to use your own hotspot to try and make them work. The windows have a nice view, but you were wide open for al to see. The house number and location is not well marked and road noise was an issue. « This is such a cute little house! Perfect for our getaway weekend with 3 adults. Make sure you bring an eye mask if you're light sensitive... Lots of uncovered windows to enjoy the beautiful nature setting. A very close drive to Main Street in Highlands.... though not the safest walk at night with dark streets and no sidewalks. Host was super responsive and the house had everything we needed. Definitely recommend! »

« My wife and I stayed here recently for our anniversary weekend. We were very happy with the cottage and location relative to Main Street. The owners have put a lot of love in this cottage and it shows. We had one issue with the internet and it was resolved in a matter of minutes by the owner reaching out to the provider. If you're looking for a cozy cottage that feels secluded, but is only a short distance to all the shops/restaurants you've found it! Highly recommended! »
