Hotel renové. . Aspect general plutot engageant. Chambres refaites et tres correctes. Service difficile malgré sourire et bonne volonté. Souvent difficile de se faire comprendre car l'anglais n'est pas toujours maitrisé. Manque de professionnalisme evident. Beaucoup de groupes ... vite bruyant. Petit dejeuner cantine ... a ne pas prendre dehors car si un bus arrive vous serez vite intoxiqué... En bref peut convenir pour une nuit de passage sinon preferer un petit hotel ou une pension de la vieille ville ou l'on trouvera sans souci charme et authenticité a un tarif plus raisonnable. Vue lointaine sur la baie du balcon des numeros pairs.

The hotel is well located and from there everything can be reached easily. We, a family of 4, enjoyed our stay very much! The staff is fabulous, and children are more than welcome. The breakfast buffet is delicious and has a big choice, even for vegans! The rooms are nice and clean! If possible, we would even give 6 stars! We very much recommend to stay at the Novotel!

Good but not great
The exterior and the lobby look great. Not to mention our room was upgraded upon arrival and there was a nice warm welcoming inside the room. One of the two elevators was out of service which was kind of a drag since we were on floor 11. The room had some things about it that were unpleasant to the eyes. A few stains on the chairs and some on the walls. The bathroom was great and overall the room stay was good.

Dear Sunpop, thank you for taking time to review we are pleased that you found the hotel to be modern however we are sorry that you felt unsafe walking to the hotel from Thalang Road late at night. I would say that to avoid walking you can take a taxi for 200 baht. I can also assure you we have not had any reports of any safety challenges from our guests regarding safety or criminality in Phuket town. We do hope you will choose to return in the future and we hope to improve upon this experience.

Good points - reception and dining hall were beautiful. Room was fair but showing signs of wear and tear and could have done with a proper deep clean. Pool area was disappointing and would benefit from a bit of staging. The areas between the lifts and the rooms were nothing short of bleak and really need some art/plants , general dressing. We booked two nights here via Expedia for two adults and a 14 year old and specified her age. On arrival our room had one king size bed which all three of us were expected to sleep in. The hotel were going to charge us extra to put another bed in the room but it would have been too cramped so we ended up booking another adjoining room. The hotel is okay for the price and fine for a couple of nights but it is not 5 star by any stretch of the imagination. The staff are wonderful though

Amazing
Staff were friendly and professional and went the extra mile to prepare chocolates for our honeymoon. The location is slightly further from old town but walkable (15min). We'd highly recommend staying here when visiting old town!

Showed me 3 different rooms and each one had a horrible smell in them. The lift is in major need of renovation too, the reception area is the best bit about the hotel. I refused to stay and argued them into a refund and moved to Ramada up the road.
