The staff were excellent but the rooms were dirty. They changed rooms for me but the sheet were worse than the first room and the bathroom floor was sticky. I wouldn't stay there again but the staff were very good all the way around and very prompt to help.

Staff was very friendly and the price was very affordable, but the property is very dated and the rooms need updating badly. Ceiling was splitting and stained and chairs were ripped. Bathrooms were updated and clean.

This hotel is aged, but it looks like the owners are in process of upgrading the inside of it. All was good except the king size matteress. The left side of the matteress looked like a slide. When my sife sat on the edge of it she slid off to the floor. It has to be 20 years old or had someone weighing 600 lbs sleeping on that side of the bed. Over all I would stay there again, but would check to make sure the matteress was not collapsing.

I would like comment that i like location as far as reaching southgate and south common area as only about 15 to 20 minutes to those locations in dealing with the traffic and every day and also only approx about 10 minutes to the calgary trail to travel the the edmonton airport would recommend the argyll the staff are really efficient and polite to talk to sincerely ralph elder

For the price it is a good place. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are older, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is quite good and there is a good selection of items.

We arrived late and the neighborhood looked a little rough in the dark. A security guard comes to the parking lot once per hr. We had to put a $100. Damage deposit— I videoed the room bc there is a lot of small pre-existing damage. The bedding was clean and mattresses wrapped in a protective cover , then mattress pad/sheet. A/C works
