Hotel Valley Ho

"This iconic place lives up to the billing"
The outside of the ho looks a little dated. Once inside everything is really cool. Retro I guess and really well done. Very comfortable and fun. The bar is actually affordable. The pool area is amazing. The help around the pool are gracious and hard working. Our room was fantastic. Comfortable, quite, great amenities.

"Relaxing stay"
Enjoyed the room - the bedroom is a nice feature. I am an early riser and my wife is not. I did not disturb her sleep. The complimentary breakfast was very good.

"Love love love. "
Went to this hotel after searching online for a "hip" spot to spend my staycation at with a few of my girlfriends. This hotel was nothing short of amazing. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were awesome. They have a great rooftop deck with bar. They provide you with a $10 breakfast voucher for the Tanquilo restaurant. I was definitely not expecting that. We are making an annual staycation trip for some girl time from here on it and the clarendon will for sure be our go to.

They are in the process of renovating everything. It is a very nice room. Would have liked a little more light around the desk area but overall it was great. Don't let the exterior corridor fool you.

"Perfect weekend wedding accommodation!"
This was a perfect villa for us to have our family together for a wedding. All 6 of us stayed comfortably. We enjoyed the pools, private hot tub, pool tables, work out gym and the outdoor patio with many of the wedding guest too. Loved walking into town to shop and explore. So close to our wedding reception at the Boulders Resort. Would definitely return to the villas for a holiday or another event. Very clean and perfectly situated.

Motel 6 Apache Junction, AZ

251 East 29th Avenue, Apache Junction - Map
"Unexpectedly Nice"
I was pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel was so nice. It was not a "typical" Motel 6. The room was nice and clean and smelled good, I had free WiFi, fridge, and microwave, everything worked except the alarm on the clock, it was quiet and the walls were adequately thick, and the desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. Probably the only thing that other travelers might not like is that it was "older." The furniture was well-used and the decor was not modernized. That wasn't a problem for me. The motel was about three blocks from the friend I was visiting. It had everything I needed, and since it was so nice compared with other Motel 6's I've been in, I was very happy! There was no breakfast but there was free coffee.
