"What a Pleasant Surprise"
This hotel does not look very promising from the exterior, this partially because the hotel was under construction at the time of my stay. That being said this hotel offers a GREAT value. The rooms have been recently remodeled and they did a nice job with the remodel. The rooms are big and have some nice features like outlets in the bed side lamps for you to plug your phone chargers in. I would highly recommend this hotel for an extended stay as the room feels like a nice furnished one bedroom apartment. Another really nice perk is they offer a complimentary breakfast buffet. This is not some crappy continental breakfast with limited options, this is a full breakfast with scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, toast, juice, coffee, etc. Unlike some other buffets the food is actually good, the eggs are not over cooked and are nice and fluffy.

Overall a nice place. Could have been cleaner. Furniture could have been more comfortable. More seating in a suite. More counter space in bathroom. Pipes sticking out of wall in living room. Staff was very pleasant. Restaurant needs bigger menu.

"Outdated but location was great"
Great location, black out curtains, cold a/c. Vending machines need to accept credit cards. Was able to walk everywhere on Mill or ride the lightrail. Was charged for services at the bar when I never went to the bar, but adding something to your bill seemed to be the trend in Tempe on Mill avenue. Beautiful garden with nice seating. As for the price, o could get a much nicer room so I figure I am paying for location. The oreo cookie cheese cake was delish. This was my staycation away from my kids.

"Perfect for spring training"
Great location for old town shopping, dining and Giants spring training. Staff was great and very helpful for first time visitors. We were in a King Suite and it was an average room for the price.

"Perfect location... Clean, funky rooms!"
This is a neat old Hotel with some nice touches. Definitely had the feel of an old place that is working hard to stay relevant. Not sure about all the rooms, but ours was definitely "cozy" to say the least... But it added to the charm. I don't think it would be the choice for a "family vacation" but worked perfectly for a romantic getaway.

"We loved it here"
There were five adults in our party. We enjoyed the hot tub, workout room, washer & dryer,& free movie loans. It is a very nice location-we hiked the mountain just right outside the door several mornings. The kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, & dishwasher were a plus too. My niece lives in Scottsdale and we plan to stay at the villas on our next trip to Arizona. It is exactly what we were looking for and more.
