« went here for my 34th birthday. my husband and i. last minute plans. we normally travel, all in all this was surprisingly the best getaway that i’ve ever had and most relaxing. i was afraid of being cold due to me being anemic altho i saw that there was a heat. i saw a review that the heat wasn’t enough so i did bring my own small portable heater . i did complain about the cold ! until my husband found that button (turbo) haha . to this was my fault . i just wanted to complain i guess . but when...

« The house was just as it was advertise. We were very close to Harper’s Ferry on a very quiet street. Just wished there was more than one kitchen towel and that the propane for the bar-b-cue wasn’t empty. But Walmart wasn’t too far away to buy more. »

« Overall, we had a great stay! There was plenty to do in the local area, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The game room was a lot of fun—the ping pong table was a big hit for us adults; however, the foosball table would probably be more enjoyable for kids, as it is on the smaller side. We also appreciated the closet stocked with board games.One highlight of our trip was rafting with River Riders—highly recommend asking for Jeff as your guide! "We had missed our flight, rebooked for IAD. had to overnight. the IAD Marriott was a bit dear, price wise, but completely comfortable with pleasant responsive staff. room - bed, outlets, bathroom all great. And, it was jammed with parents and girls attending a soccer tournament. However, the hotel was big and burly enough to accommodate them and still give us the peace our tired travellers' bodies needed."
