"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was fantastic not having to worry about feeding the kids multiple times a day. And the pool was fun! The staff were helpful and nice."

"The room was very nice and spacious, but the shower floor was dingy. Actually, the whole bathroom was dingy. The countertop is clean, but the red wood had layers of grime. The white paint was yellowing and especially underneath the sink when you’re sitting on the toilet, you can see how dirty the floor actually is. Normally, I would ask to change rooms but we were there late on a Thursday staying till Sunday so I’ve just ignored it. The pool water was cloudy and the chlorine was overwhelming. But the evening reception was lovely and the free omelette station and breakfast was wonderful as well. Super busy place the front desk gentlemen Brent was very gracious and helpful and overall it was a nice stat."

"This was an excellent experience from the front desk staff to the maintenance and housekeeping. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I truly enjoyed having a balcony to sit out on in the evening and early morning it was great. Everything about our visit was amazing and I will return."

Highland Inn Peculiar

"Obviously an older hotel and recently given a lot of love by the staff. Brightly repainted exterior, parking lot being worked on (not sure how experienced the hired crew was, but staff was paying a lot of attention to the work). New air conditioners waiting for installation. Right off the highway but I couldn’t hear the road noise. Homey and bright quilt with a wool(?) layer under it. Good quality mattress and plenty of pillows. Bell/phone number to call if staff away from desk. Got a discounted rate from Expedia and online reservation couldn’t have been easier."
