This historical building was great to stay in and very comfortable. We had major problems contacting the hotel and arranging shuttle pick up but it worked out in the end.

We had an excellent stay. We've stayed at various Hampton Inns in Canada, the US, and Romania, and this one is easily one of the best! It has a great location, with a Megamaxi, La Carolina Park, and QuiCentro all within walking distance. We had a room with two beds that were well furnished with fluffy pillows. I can’t say enough about the Rincón de Puembo! We stayed here at the very end of our Ecuador trip. I picked this place to stay because it seemed very relaxing and the rest of our trip had been very busy. My expectations were certainly exceeded! the breakfasts were incredible, and the dinner was too, I was met at the airport (prearranged)and transferred quickly as it was 2:30 am. The staff was excellent and the room was very nice and a bit quirky, which I loved.

We stayed 10 days and the staff was excellent, very helpful. Room was clean and the wifi worked perfect. The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic and varied a little every day.

We ate dinner at the onsite Mexican restaurant and were shocked by the less than satisfactory service. Our pre dinner cocktails arrived with the main course. We had to find a server to ask for the wine to be opened and served.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet area. The staff have been fabulous and can’t do enough to make your stay extra special. The food has been really good and the view from the rooftop bar is beautiful at night. Can’t wait to come back.

Very quiet place with great service. The road to get there is not easy! But overall it helped our family relax with a fire place and great accommodation. Strongly recommended as in Ecuador the standards are not always consistent.
