"We enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. True to it's name, there are mangos hanging off the big tree ready to eat or as we did, make mango margaritas! Josh is an excellent host and his girlfriend, Mariela, is an great cook. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (gallo pinto/eggs), fab dinner (Arroz con Pollo) and the best pina coladas ever! The river/estuary views are every changing with the tides. Overall, it's a hidden paradise in a typical Costa Rican neighborhood."

"The house was huge and the property was right on the beach! Mauricio was very helpful for anything we needed. There was also dogs and a cat on the property (outside) which we loved too. "Beautiful home, beautiful location, great view of the ocean from the upstairs bedroom. Very responsive property manager, answered all my questions in a timely manner. Definitely need a 4x4 vehicle to make it up the hills to the house. Well kept. Modern inside. Dishes and cooking things all stocked. My only comment would be that this house is not a 5 min walk from the beach like it says. Its about a 5 to 7 minute drive down the hills and a little road driving. No complaints otherwise."

"This hotel was incredible for many reasons. First off, the view of the islands in the bay is breathtakingly gorgeous. You can hang onto the edge of the beautiful pool and gaze at the beach, water and islands below. There's an outdoor lounge and a restaurant with really good food. The service is top notch. The rooms are clean and spacious. From the balcony, we could hear howler monkeys down below, as well as dozens of exotic bird species. I can confidently say that this was the best hotel experience I have had in my life for the reasonable price. "
