« Location was perfect for us as we were there for the Arctic winter games. Close to Palmer and Hatcher’s’s pass (beautiful). View from the little kitchen is fabulous.Warm welcome from the host who lives near by and took time to chat. It takes a little practice to figure out when start and stop the fireplace in order to keep an even temperature throughout the night but it is feasible (winter stay). »

« I was there for a meeting in Anchorage. This was about an hour outside of Anchorage and it's absolutely worth it. The drive is beautiful, the cabin is exactly what I needed, and the owners are easy to talk to and give great advice. Chris is a great guy. The cabin is tiny but completely functional. There's so much to do within a short drive from the cabin... this is a great basecamp if you want to poke around the area. I'll be back again, and next time I'll bring my wife. »

« The place is ideal for short or long stays with comfy memory foam beds, very clean and quiet, and easily accessible. The twin beds in the 3rd bedroom are very nice! We made meals, caught up on laundry, and walked the neighborhood. There were 3 things which could have improved the stay: chairs/seating for the back patio, dining table (seating was at the kitchen counter), and couple more chairs with seat backs (we could sit around coffee table on the bar stools, but not as comfortable). "Cabane spacieuse et propre juste devant le départ des hélicoptères donc super pratique mais bruyant en journée si vous ne voler pas. Le vol hélicoptère est une merveille à faire. Bel endroit avec une vue superbe. Agréable le soir au soleil couchant sur la terrasse. Proche du glacier et de la rivière. Lieu isolé de tout."
