This intimate retreat is designed for two, offering a peaceful haven amidst the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding mountains. Accommodation: The bungalow features a comfortable and inviting space, perfect for a couple seeking tranquility and seclusion. Unwind in the cozy living area or snuggle up together to take in the panoramic views of the majestic mountains through large picture windows. Kitchenette: Prepare delightful meals for two in the well-equipped kitchenette. It comes complete with essential appliances and utensils, allowing you to cook and savor your favorite dishes while enjoying the stunning natural backdrop just outside. Bathroom: The bungalow boasts a modern and private bathroom, providing all the amenities you need to freshen up after a day of exploring the Alaskan wilderness. Outdoor Space: Step outside to your outdoor area, where you can immerse yourselves in the serenity of nature. Sip your morning coffee on the patio while witnessing the breathtaking sunrise over the mountains. In the evenings, unwind with a glass of wine as you admire the mesmerizing colors of the sunset. A Farmhouse and another bungalow on the same property. If your interested in booking one or all, lets us know. You will receive the door code a day before your reservation to access the bungalow. We are not on-site but can be contacted by phone and get a quick response. Our Neighborhood is a very quite one. Please remember the quiet hours. The property is very close to the highway for easy access to downtown Palmer and Wasilla. Property is 45 minutes from the Airport and 10 minutes from MatSu Regional Hospital. Great restaurants, hiking, site seeing, skiing and much more nearby. Skeetawk ski area is 15 minutes away. There is a cooler provided for road trips next to the wood bin. Welcome to the Chugiak Bungalow! We’re so glad to host you—thank you for treating our space with care so everyone can enjoy it. Guests: This booking is just for the two adults listed. No additional guests are permitted. Shoes: We ask that shoes be removed inside to help keep the bungalow fresh and cozy. Firepit Use: For safety, please do not use the firepit when it’s windy. Firewood is provided in between the bungalows in the fire wood box. Before heading to bed, make sure the fire is fully out and the cover is placed back on the pit. Smoking & Vaping: You’re welcome to smoke or vape outdoors only. Please note: any smoking inside will result in a $500 fee. It was cold, freezing, and windy. We weren’t sure which of the two bungalows we got, so that could have been better communicated to us, but we luckily guessed right. The door code worked right away, and it was easy to get in. Nice and cozy warmth inside with a cute fire stove. Really felt like a beautiful safe haven in the midst of that little blizzard. Everything about this place is perfect. The only other nuance is the fridge settings; we were struggling to find the right setting on the dial that didn’t freeze our refrigerated goods, but not mellow enough that the ice cream would melt. The view is worth a million dollars alone, maybe more, actually. It’s in a safe area, somewhat tucked away and elevated and hidden from the major byways of the neighborhood and main roads. The sign indicating the address is sometimes covered by the weekly red rubbish bins, so don’t miss your turn like we did one of the nights, haha. The sign with the address on it is cute, but perhaps it could be elevated to a position above the height of the rubbish take out bins. Long driveway, fresh air, 10/10 comfort. Great price. Would love to visit here again someday—definitely a good Vrbo. We’ve stayed in a lot of places, and these guys have earned every star 100%. ##### Danica S.
