This made for a fantastic play area for the kids to roam. Walk out to the beach and turn left and five minutes later you're at the Rudder Room for a drink (cash only) and the sea lions gather outside which is a fun thing to watch. Fifteen minutes the other way and you're at a spot with restaurants, boat trips, kayaking, and more. Of course, it's a short drive to the supermarket as well.The house itself is large, and the elevator was hugely helpful for getting luggage up and down. The main sitting area is on the second level, and there is a large window with a couch that served as my napping spot every afternoon. It's completely open with the kitchen on that level, so it's a good spot for a family group.One thing to keep in mind. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the top level with three bedrooms and one bath on the bottom. If you're using all three bathrooms downstairs, it can get crowded. We had some use the half bath on the 2nd level.Overall, it was great for our extended family of eight.One thing to be aware ##### Brett S.
