"The ceilings are very low as you enter the basement , I hit my head ( 6 foot 3" ) the pathway to the door is loose gravel , and the gate was a challenge The fridge freezer was very old , and the freezer was frozen shut , (so no way to freeze my freezer packs for my lunch the next day) The fridge was very loud as well, couldn't hear the tv over the racket There is a small step as you enter the bedroom , which I tripped over in the dark...need some signs up for ceiling and step Need signage for the light switch to the basement as well There was mold on the carpet in the bedroom , can be easily shampooed for clean up I had to message for the wifi password which was apparently on display ( it was not) the coffee table in the lounge was sticky ..honey or food covering there was nowhere to set my suitcase in the bedroom , in order to unload / load There was lots of floor space, as they probably use it for rec room when vacant"

"When arriving, the front doesn’t look very good. There are overgrown trees, vines growing up the building and the front steps didn’t look very nice. We wanted to check in early but was told there was a $45 early check in fee and our room was ready. We only wanted to drop OFF our suitcases. Not very good PR. We checked in around 9pm and was pleasantly surprised when we drove around the back of the building to find a nicely renovated exterior. Our room was nice with a panelled floor, two fridges, a Keurig coffee maker (only 2 k-cups for 3 guests) and a microwave. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok. The food and dining room were small. You need to get there early to have a good selection. Only disappointment was the coffee (very weak)."

"No complaints about my stay! I went for a staycation for a night with my 4 year old son and it was perfect. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was a great size and clean with a really comfortable bed. Having access to a pool was great. I didn’t use it but the gym looked well equipped too. We went to the bistro for dinner and it had a good variety with tasty options. There was continental breakfast as well as breakfast at the bistro, with great options in both. They also had a pretty well stocked snack bar (for purchase) in the lobby which would have definitely come in useful for a longer stay. Overall great stay and I’ll definitely be back."

"Booked a stay here with my partner ahead of our wedding at Parkwood Historic site. The location is close and quiet. Overall vibe of the place was good too. Additionally, staff were super helpful in accommodating my requests related to my wedding. Would recommend wedding couples to stay here in the future."
