We stayed at this property for 2 nights in September poolside family suite external entrance. Appreciated the first door walk out and since our room was middle of building we were only about 100 steps to pool gates ( if you were closer to an end of the building it would be even less. The room was clean, and the 2 bedroom side has a celing height sliding door that can close to the living room couch/bed kitchen area to have some separtion. The bathroom area is only accessed from the 2 bedroom side and has a open sink to the bedroom and 2 doors one on each side of the sink area - one for an additional sink and shower while the other door has the toliet by itself. This setup worked well with just myself and a 11&13 year old. We ordered pizza drinks and was offered extra blankets or other needs when requesting room service. The staff was very professional and extra courteous during out entire stay. Parking lots were gated to enter and exit, many dining and extra activities available like bowling, game room, and pools. The hotel rooms also required access by key to get access from parking areas. The lazy river water barely had enough current to push you along and after purchasing tubes for 17 dollars each (the most expensive ones) we only went around one time. The lazy river was located near the pool and rooms opposite side of the resort than oir room and building. The pool that also had the slide was closest to our room. Overall kids loved it. Pools open till 10pm was nice.

I did not like how you can hear everything from your room we barely slept at night because we had loud neighbors screaming and talking until 4am and you can also hear everything in the halls definitely not a hotel if u want peace and quiet

I loved it, pool is refreshing even at night, has a shopping store inside the lobby, a food court, expendable beverage machines, starbucks and transportation to the parks, as well you can get to Volvano Bay by walking in 5 min. Staff is courteous and helpful, loved the experience

Very clean and lots to do. Very close to everything to include the amusement parks. Only problem i had was that they never leave any washcloth in the room. Every morning I had to get up and go find the cleaning cart or I would go into the staff only laundry closet and get my own. I do not bathe with my hands thank you.

Can't say enough about how wonderful it is to stay at Cabana Bay. Top-notch services and amenities at a family-friendly price. Property is impeccably maintained. We stayed on the 4th floor of the Starlight building and the walkways, walls and lights were clean and not loaded with bugs. Did have difficulty using my room key to access our parking lot several times. Absolutely our favorite place to stay in Orlando.

The property is a cute 1960’s style retro beach vibe. It’s a cute, fun style. Our room was a suite with a mini kitchen/living room. It was comfortable and clean. This room has some minor maintenance problems.. like a lamp that has a wiring issue and a tv remote that won’t work, but overall super cute! I hope they keep up on the maintenance to keep this property nice for a long time!

Nice resort! Love the easy walk to Volcano Bay! I was able to print out my Universal Express tickets at the help desk —very convenient!! The free shuttle to Islands of Adventure is great! Pool area is fun, but they no longer play the movies where you can view them from the pool :-( …tried to make a bowling reservation two weeks in advance and it was all booked! Diner area is spacious, but wish they had a few more healthier food options.
