"This is such a sweet gem of a cottage tucked into a quiet and safe neighborhood. I was in Newberg for a long weekend class and my husband was with me. This location was only a few minutes drive for me and was a perfect central spot for my husband to drive out for beautiful hikes. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking light meals and the bottle of Pinot Noir from the owner was a lovely touch. We will definitely stay here again if we return."

"Four of us enjoyed the Blue Cottage in May 2024. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay including a well-functioning gas grill. The views of Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens (we think) were spectacular. It should be noted that the driveway is quite steep and can be a little slippery in wet weather, but there are steps in the middle of it to facilitate safe walking. Parking is available on the street as well as in a garage."

"The hosts put much love and effort to make the property unique and inviting. Nice decor, wonderful patio with water fountain, It is small, and the working and kitchen amenities are minimal. The window coverings let light in, but just put a pillow over your head. It works out beautifully. The hosts are personable and eager to make your stay comfortable."

"The natural beauty was amazing. My favorite moments were in the early morning. I would get up and soak outside in the hot tub. Just looking out at the forest and enjoying the sounds around me. The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. I truly enjoyed my quick stay. Will come back again. "

"The house was in a a quiet neighborhood with a lot of privacy. Close to a park, which my doggo was very appreciative of. Parking was ample and outdoor space was beautifully landscaped. The mattresses were INCREDIBLY comfortable. The house was even stocked with toiletry and pantry staples which was a wonderful surprise. "This was a sweet little escape not super far away from town. The only thing that I would suggest is asking that if you're visiting in colder months you request the heat be turned on prior to check in. It was freezing and took a few hours to heat up. Otherwise it was a great little place and most likely will visit there again."

"We are a group of 8 friends who go on vacation for a week every year.( for over 30 years ) We are 70 years plus old! Property and views were wonderful. Many deer sightings, a view of the Columbia River. House was beautiful and updated, each couple had their own bathrooms attached to rooms. It is 3 stories, so if anyone has issues with stairs consider that when booking. We had no problem. Property owners were very attentive and would definitely recommend this property."

"This rental surpassed all our expectations in every way! I’ve stayed in numerous vacation rentals over the years, and this one was by far the best. The setting in the forest and on the Tualatin River was surreal. The attention to detail amazing. The Goat Shed & Zen dens were quite clean & cozy. As 2 older women, we felt very safe staying here. Overall centrally located and a quick drive down the road into West Linn offered several wonderful dining options. Definitely plan on staying here again....

"Comfortable stay for 2 adults and 2 kids. Had kitchenette with stove, mini refridge, microwave, dishwasher and essential utensils which was great for simple meals. Shared outdoor grill was available to use. Breakfast was fresh and well stocked, easily taken to go. Parking expensive but worth peace of mind, and only took about 10 mins to get in our car after texting the valet. Location is right along river, has public transit stop very close, and didn't have homeless outside. We enjoyed the indoor pool (no jacuzzi) and gym. Filtered water was available in the gym and near breakfast area. Highly recommended!"
