"We really enjoyed our stay, the owner Drew made sure we felt welcomed when we first arrived and gave us a very thorough tour of the property. Both Ty and Rachel (who were the innkeepers) were always very approachable with any of our needs throughout the trip, including with helping us get situated with the onsite kayak rentals. We definitely plan to be back, as this place had a nice remote feeling and gorgeous up close view of Lake Leelanau!"

"We are both 70+ and had the stairs to climb. It was the only disappointment. We knew that was the case however next time we have to be downstairs. Loved the location and amenities."

"First time in area so we didn’t know what to expect. Facility was in a shaded park like setting with a fire pit and easy access to a private beach. The room was clean and comfortable. "

"Listing states the property is 2 bedrooms plus a loft. Please note that the second bedroom is located in a separate structure that is not attached to the house. This was not clear in the listing. If you are staying with small children, I would not recommend this property.Very disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. The floors in the separate structure had clearly not been cleaned. The patio furniture was covered in mold and the dock was in desperate need of a power wash. In addition, the trash can was overflowing from previous guests and the shed had 3, full bags of trash.The property does have A/C. However, it was 89 degrees inside upon our arrival. Be prepared to allow time for the house to cool down.The locks on the doors to both structures do not function properly and can be pushed open with minimal effort which is an obvious concern.The kitchen is minimally stocked and the coffee maker is broken.Communication with the host started off great. However, once these concerns were brought to her attention, communication stopped. The aesthetic of the property is adorably decorated with a lovely view of the lake. Having said that, I would not recommend due to the multiple concerns above."

"Loved the quiet mornings on the patio drinking coffee and delicious house made muffins, scones, and sticky buns. The beautiful building made me feel like I was stepping back in time and the service was truly outstanding! I can’t wait to go back!"

"Super cute and charming room! Felt way more homey than a standard motel. I absolutely loved the complimentary coffee and snacks in the shared cafe space. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I checked in really late, and they were really accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend if you're looking for a well above average motel stay!"
