Blue Shore is your perfect vacation home that sleeps up to 10 people. You will enjoy the large and open feel of this home styled in beach cottage chic but with today's modern amenities. Located just 5 miles from downtown Traverse City on Leelanau Peninsula, Blue Shore offers private waterfront, comfortable home with water views from almost every room, and amazing sunrises that you will remember for years to come!

Blue Shore is an expansive home perfect for large families, couples retreats or the girls/guys get away weekend with views of the bay from almost every room.

Right when you walk in, you are immediately greeted by a 2 story open concept with windows everywhere. The open feel extends into the kitchen, dining, and living room area all overlooking large doors that open to let the lake breeze in.

The kitchen has all amenities, including a double oven and granite counter tops. It opens directly to dining area that has a large table that can seat up to 12 people comfortably. Kitchen and dining area open to the living room that has a large couch perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views or watching TV on the 52 inch flat screen above the stone gas fireplace. Step outside on the decks overlooking West Bay to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or late night glass of wine.

Down the hall off the dining area is a full guest bathroom plus a laundry room with washer/dryer. 1st level also features a master bedroom with private bathroom, king bed and large doors with private deck to take in the water views. 2 additional bedrooms, 1 with queen & 1 with full beds, share a private jack and jill style bathroom.

2nd level has a large master bedroom with king bed, private bathroom and doors that open up to a private deck. Upper level has 2 living areas and large doors that open to let more fresh air in. This space is perfect for extra sleeping or kids' play area. It even features a wet bar! 2nd level also houses a dormer with 2 twin bunk beds for a total of 4 sleeping spaces.

Basement level has a large sitting area with a TV, another full kitchen and another full bathroom with sauna (sauna is currently not operational due to Covid 19 cleaning standards). It is perfect not have to run up and downstairs to main area all day as it has large doors that open right outside to your own private water frontage. We just opened up the wine cellar with a large table to enjoy intimate dinners and wine tasting.

With water levels high there is no sandy beach area or an area to walk down to without the dock installed but you can still view the lake from the decks. Launch your kayaks or paddle boards from the dock or enjoy the sitting area to watch boats drive by. Please note, you cannot tie a boat to dock unsupervised or overnight. You can only use to load/unload only and we cannot guarantee that the dock configuration or water levels will allow you to do that as they are inconsistent. Dock is removed from mid-September through mid/late May due to winter weather; otherwise it should be ready for your enjoyment.

Blue Shore is the ideal 'Up North' retreat. Not only can you enjoy your own private beach but her location is perfect for day trips....go wine tasting, explore Suttons Bay, check out the Dunes, golf or ski-depending on the time of year, shop downtown Traverse City, drive along the famous M22, and so much, MUCH more!
