"We booked the hotel for a couple of reasons, the first being the special formal Japanese dinner and the second was a private Onsen in our room. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the hotel and the amenities very much. The staff was excellent in providing Assistance and support, meeting our every need. Our server for the formal Japanese dinner was Theint, and she was very well-versed in English and very informative as she prepared and served the meal to us. It met all of our expectations and we would highly recommend the Nanouso Hotel as a place to stay for travelers."

Dinner was delightful, breakfast was amazing. The hotel was very clean from the outside to our room. The rooms are beautiful, we had the river view room. All the amenities where great & clean. 10/10 i recommend. I will be returning"

"Mind blowing. Nicest hotel room we have ever stayed in. We stayed atop in room 405, and we had 3.5 private onsens (one inddor hot, one outdoor hot, one indoor cold, and one outdoor foot bath) plus a sauna. And a kitchen w/ bbq. And a projector. And the largest TV I have ever seen. ANd.... Just magical. Can stay here without a car too: just use bus/train. Roads are dangerous, so find the hidden paths if you can (e.g., there is a super charming path hidden behind the nearby train station to across the street from the hotel, that is even lit up at night). A pleasant walk to the Hakone Open Air Museum (~20 min or so) and the Ropeway. So good, so good...."
