"Brilliant location for the town centre and Piece Hall. Everything you need. Clean comfortable bed, tea tray and tv but very dated. The bathroom lino desperately needs to be changed - too old to ever feel really clean. Parking close by and lovely staff. Thank you for a pleasant overnight."

"We had a fabulous long weekend at The Vestry celebrating my dad's 80th. The house was an excellent size to accommodate all the family (10 of us), with the living area being a great size for our celebrations, and relaxing. The hot tub was a welcome addition and was well used throughout. The kitchen was well equipped for all of our cooking needs whilst there. There are a lot of stairs to get to all of the various bedrooms, not a problem for most, but my parents had to use the first floor bedroom. I'm pleased to say we didn't do much exploring over the weekend due to the fantastic weather, so we spent a lot of time in the back garden watching deer, pheasants and curlews. Wouldn't hesitate to return."

"Lovely property, decorated to a high standard.Everything we required was somewhere in the house.Master bedroom was beautiful.Great communication with the host!Only things to bear in mind. Kitchen and communal are above the bedrooms and can be noisy, if you have an early riser. Maybe a better choice for them to bob down to the cinema room, whist others wake up. Also no toilet on on the communal floor. Totally fine, unless you have mobility issues. If you have children of school age or above, they will think this is Hide 'n' Seek Heaven. Thanks to the host for a wonderful stay! "
